Travis is respected as a musician on Space Oddity, who follows a man seeking help from an insurance company to plan a trip to Mars.
Naturally,
these father-son duos inevitably bond over music as both are musicians.
Brother with
his own brother Michael Bacon since the year 1995. His son also has his own
band called Black Anvil, which is famous for its hardcore black metal songs.
"We've
collaborated on amazing stuff because I'm a musician too," the father of
two told Halo as he provided his son a melodious nod to Space Oddity as well as
music written for other projects.
He
explained: "They support us and we support them. We all work together in a
variety of different capacities," recalling how he had previously directed
for his daughter, Sosie Bacon. Was an actress just like her parents.
A heartfelt
explanation given by the composer that: "We love to work together, we
don't do it just because it's family, we do it because we love the work, the
creative process."
He was also
reported to have collaborated on a project of this type for the third time
Space Oddity was directed by his wife.
“I loved
being directed by my wife… She is a brilliant director. She has a very clear
vision with the way I see and feel things,” he admitted with great affection,
which he loved the most. He feels more proud when his wife gives him tips and
tweaks.
